VALOX™
VALOX™ is a film manufactured from PolyButylene Terephthalate (PBT), from the company SABIC IP. The films are characterized by an excellent resistance to heat and chemicals, as well as by excellent electrical properties, in combination with exceptionally good processability and surface quality.
Properties
- low flammability
- good resistance to temperatures
- excellent resistance to chemicals
- excellent resistance to dielectric strength and low humidity absorption
- particularly suitable for laminated EMC/RFI screens
- good printability: Part numbers or warnings can be directly printed on the films with no problem
